Numerical Simulation Of Fluid-Particle Interactions

We perform numerical simulations of several 3D fluid-particle interactionproblems. We simulate the sedimentation in a liquid filled tubeof multiple spheres ranging in number from two to five. The NavierStokesequations for incompressible flow are solved using the stabilizedspace-time finite element method.
