Continuity 5-The Joint Spectral Radius

We have seen how a lower bound on the continuity of the limit curve can be determined by z-transform analysis, and an upper bound by eigenanalysis. The insights of z-transforms enable us to compute the eigenproperties very efficiently. Yet another twist shows that both of these two computations can be understood in terms of a standard property of a pair of matrices, their Joint Spectral Radius.
