Toxicity of Gases Produced From Pyrolysis of Polychloroprene Flexible Foams

Three samples of polychloroprene flexible foams were evalu ated for toxicity of pyrolysis gases, using the toxicity screening test method developed at the University of San Francisco. On the basis of time to death, ALS, LS, and LS200 foams ranked among the least toxic of the over 300 materials evaluated using the particular test conditions of USF Procedure B.
