Research on Low Drag and High Stealth Leading Edge

In the research of high stealth performance layout designing,the pursuit of high stealth often cause aerodynamic efficiency decrease.This essay submit a leading edge layout with low resistance and high stealth by modifying the leading edge of blended body.By modeling and calculating the radar scattering characteristics and the aerodynamic characteristics of three different fuselages layout,the conclusion is drawn that the RCS of the modified layout is reduced with narrow wave crest,Meanwhile,the lift-drag ratio of the modified layout is improved,and the triming loss is reduced,thus it will greatly improve the aerodynamic efficiency.
