902. In Toto Gene Correction by Meganuclease-Induced Homologous Recombination in Mouse Liver

Correction of gene defect by homologous recombination will become increasingly important in the field of gene therapy. Indeed this approach circumvents some of the limitation of the cDNA complementation strategy like the lack of specific regulation, the random insertion or the short duration of the transgene expression. However this strategy has been impaired until recently by the low efficiency of this process.
