Optimized design of stone sweeper plate in type HX_D1 locomotive

This paper presents the case that fatigue crack of stone sweeper plate produces in type HXD1 locomotive which are running on Da-Qin Line and analyzes its causes.The optimized design is presented and the finite element analysis results show that the optimized structure is stronger than the original structure.The dynamic test results show that the improve the design plate are better performance than the original plate,and it can meet the Da-Qin Line of heavy transport requirements.
