PILOT MODULES OF OPESS - AN ONLINE COURSE ON OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT, ERP- AND SCM SYSTEMS

The project OPESS, financed by the Swiss Virtual Campus program, aims at achieving an integrated approach to Web Based Training in the field of Operations Management. Special consideration is given to questions of managerial and technical concepts and to related software solutions that have gained great significance worldwide as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. This paper will present the concepts used for the design and the development of the OPESS pilot modules and examples taken from these modules.
