A simple method for the removal of antibody-forming cells from whole spleen cell populations

A method for depleting immune spleen cell populations of more than 99.5% of plaque forming cells (PFC) and more than 99% of rosette-forming cells (RFC) is described. The method is based on filtration through glass-wool columns. The advantages of this method are relative simplicity, rapidity, good reproducibility and a high yield of depletion.
