Wavelet-based approach to network analysis: An introduction

Starting from recent results of signal processing theory about wavelet analysis the paper presents a proposal for a review of the electrical network theory based on these new mathematical tools. The basic idea is to find the possibility to extend closed-form approach in the analysis of electrical systems and arrange an extension of traditional impedance parameters to new and more advanced tools.
