Comparative research of blood bio-chemical indexes of Mongolia sheep and its latter generations of Borderdale×Mongolia and Poll Dorset×Mongolia hybrid

Twelve blood bio-chemical indexes of five breeds of Mongolia sheep and its latter generations of Borderdale × Mongolia,Poll Dorset × Mongolia were studied.The results showed that the serum Ca~(2+) content of five breeds was lower than the standard(3.91±0.17 mmol/L),while the serum P content was higher than the standard(1.16±0.28 mmol/L),and other ten indexes were normal or approached to the standard.The total protein,albumin and Na~(+ )of serum of four latter generations,which were relative to production performance,were higher than those of local Mongolia sheep.In short,hybrid sheep were adapted to the local natural ecological environment and raising management condition very well and could bring their genetic potential in mutton production into full play.
