Catena-Poly[[Dithiocyanatomanganese(Ii)]-Di-Mu-4,4 '-Methylenebis(3,5-Dimethylpyrazole)]

A novel Mn(II) one-dimensional coordination polymer with the bridging ligand 4,4'-methylenebis(3,5-dimethylpyrazole), (H(2)mbdpz), has been isolated. It is composed of [Mn(C11H16N4)(2)(SCN)(2)] units. The crystal structure determination shows that an infinite chain is composed of alternating manganese ions and H(2)mbdpz ligands. The Mn(II) ion lies on a twofold axis.
