Quantitative gas—liquid chromatography of non-protein amino acids in the presence of the twenty protein amino acids

The quantitative gas—liquid chromatographic analysis of eighteen non-protein amino acids, in the presence of the twenty protein amino acids, as their N-TFA-n-butyl esters, has been successfully achieved on a glass column packed with EGA. The relative molar responses of these amino acids,l relative to ornithine, are presented.
