Effect of hydrogen on (α2 + β)β transus temperature of super—α2 alloy

Based on thermal dilatometry and X-ray diffraction measurements, it has been quantitatively proved that the (α2 + β)β transus temperature of a super—α2 alloy, a Ti3Al based aluminide alloy, can be effectively lowered by the addition of hydrogen and thus the determination of processing parameters for TCP with hydrogen of the alloy can be made on this basis.
