Clinical Study of Maxpime's Treatment to the Bacterial Infection in Thoracic Operation

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and economic benefits of Maxpime's treatment to the Bacterial Infection in Thoracic Operation.Methods 221 cases of thoracic surgical patients were randomly divided into two groups.109 cases were treated with Maxpime and 112 cases with Ceftazidime.Clinical efficiency is compared.The economic benefits were evaluated by a pharmacoeconomic cost-effect analysis.Results In the Maxpime group(109 patients),the effective rate was 92.7% as compared with 90.2% of the patients in the Ceftazidime group(112 pat ients)(P0.05).No significant difference was noted in both groups.The cost-effect of Maxpime was lower than that of Ceftazidime.Conclusions Application of Maxpime in perioperative period is a effective and economic prophylactic regime to prevent thoracic surgical patients from Bacterial infection.
