We present a technique that uses Golay phase encoding, pulse inversion, and amplitude modulation (GPIAM) for microbubble contrast agent imaging with ultrasound. This technique improves the contrast-to-tissue ratio (CTR) by increasing the time-bandwidth product of the insonating waveforms.
