A characterization of two commercially available real-time portal imaging systems

Conclusions: If estimates of the disnibution of set-up errors are measured, then these calculations can be used to predict the effects of these uncertainties on a given patient.Our calculations suggest that nominal distributions are often too optimistic, and that other quantities like the mean dose may be more representative of what occurs in patients.
