Gender Gap of Immigrant Groups in the United States

The purpose of this paper is to explore the determinants of the gender gaps in the U.S. of immigrant groups from different countries. More specifically, the purpose of this paper is two-folded. First, it will explore how in theory the social norms in the country of origin determine the gender gap through two avenues.
