MR Imaging of Bone Marrow
msra(2004)
摘要
In hematological malignancies, diagnosis and determination of disease stage, prognostic factors and response to treatment
are Important for adjusting the initial treatment to the spread and aggressiveness of the disease, for avoiding over or under-treatment
during the course of the disease, and for comparing different therapies. Bone marrow Imaging has advanced greatly with MR
imaging, because MR presents a more global view of the bone marrow than biopsy material, and provides a better understanding
of diffuse hematologic disease progression and resolution. Compared to other techniques, such as conventional radiography
and CT, MR Imaging is much sensitive to bone marrow disorders; however, It lacks specificity.
