Investigation of dispersion and dilution of suspended species in river flow by radio-tracer techniques
The International Journal of Applied Radiation and Isotopes(1971)
摘要
Interconnection between soluble and suspended material in a river arises through the process of sorption. This implies that a significant part of the soluble effluent is carried by the suspended material. As a result, even in the case of extensive sorption, the transport of effluent is influenced by mechanisms having different velocities in the fluid.
