LIVER DISEASE IN EXTRAHEPATIC MALIGNANCY

Liver diseases in patients with extrahepatic malignancies are usually detected by clinical features like hepatomegaly, jaundice, and abnormalities in liver function tests. A variety of causes may account for these abnormalities in patients with malignancies. This article reviews the etiologies of liver diseases in malignancies and provides information on how to approach patients with liver disease. Early diagnosis and timely treatment of these diseases may prevent deterioration in hepatic function.
