摘要

Complexes between flavonols, flavanols and flavanone, and Zn acetate have been studied by cyclic voltammetry in two hydro-organic media at neutral pH. Then preparative electrolyses have been attempted followed by coulometry, UV–Vis optical absorption and circular dichroism spectroscopies for characterizing the oxidized species. By EPR spectroscopy transient o-semiquinone have been identified. According to their molecular structure some complexes are more easily oxidizable.
