Papers from the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine

This month's Journal includes 66 papers generated from abstracts presented at the 2005 meeting of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. These manuscripts were selected from 180 submitted to the SMFM Editor, Dr. Roger Newman, who distributed the manuscripts to SMFM Associate Editors, Drs. Sarah Kilpatrick, Maureen Malee, Tom Moore, and George Saade. Each SMFM Associate Editor solicited reviews from SMFM reviewers and returned the top 20-25 papers to Dr. Newman. Dr. Newman and I then selected and edited the 66 papers that appear in this issue. They are grouped in broad topic areas, a format that has been favorably received by our readers in past years. There is something here for everyone - clinician, researcher, obstetrician and perinatologist - to enjoy.
