A novel image watermarking algorithm based on wavelet networks

In this paper, we describe a new blind watermarking scheme that is applied into the host image in the DWT domain. A wavelet network has been developed to establish and memorize the relationship between details coefficients in a block of the image decomposition. We have also adopted an adaptive embedding algorithm to enhance the performances of the watermarking system. Experimental results show that this watermarking scheme is very robust to common image processing and the extracted watermarks are readily recognizable.
