RNAi on the Apoptosis TRAIL

Presented in a paper in the September issue of Molecular Cell, Aza-Blanc et al. used an RNA interference-based genetic screen to identify genes that modulate sensitivity to the apoptosis-inducing ligand TRAIL. The age of mammalian cell genetic screens has begun.
