摘要

We study the Fermilab Recyler Ring beam life time due to various physical processes associated with beam- gas interactions. This includes single coloumb scattering, electronic excitations, nuclear and multiple scattering pro- cesses. We compare the measured life time with those ob- tained from theoretical estimations. The results indicate addtional processes are also contributing to the actual beam life time.
