L'émergence, en France, de la référence à l'approche centrée sur le développement du pouvoir d'agir des personnes et des collectivités

First, we clarify the relation between empowerment and the approach focused on the « développement du pouvoir d'agir des personnes et des collectivités ». The empowerment includes this approach but is not limited by this one. Then, we present some markers concerning the emergence, in France, within the practices of social and educational interventions and the practices of social and territorial interventions, of the reference to the empowerment and of the reference to the approach focused on the « développement du pouvoir d'agir des personnes et des collectivités ». At last, we mention the interest of this second reference in the present context of doubt of the practices of social interventions. Three characteristics are succinctly approached : the assertion of the action as lever of change, the taking of experiental knowledges of people or group affected by the intervention into account, the decentration of the only individual aspect to take advantage of the contextual characters.
