HeartScore: a new web-based approach to European cardiovascular disease risk management.

The program offers the two European versions based on the four SCORE risk charts: ‘European Low Risk’ and ‘European Low Risk TC/HDL Ratio’ for Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland and Portugal and ‘European High Risk’ and ‘European High Risk TC/HDL Ratio’ for all other European countries. The total cholesterol/high-density lipoprotein (HDL) ratio is commonly used in Germany, Poland and the Netherlands and requires the measurements of both total cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol.
