A transputer based implementation of the VOXAR project

The aim of the VOXAR (VOXel ARchitecture) [VOX∗] project is to step towards a real time ray-tracing machine. We divide the space into Voxels and the parallelism exploited is the natural parallelism between independent space locations that are voxels. Objects are projected into the voxel matrix and rays cross the scene Voxel by Voxel with an incremental integer logic algorithm.
