摘要
This paper presents a generalization of MU ltiple-SI gnal- Component (MUSIC) time of arrival (TOA) estimation using spatial-temporal diversities to enhance the resolvability of the leading edge component as the signal of interest in wireless positioning applications. Combining different covariance matrices corresponding to different diversity branches leads to an effective covariance matrix with better properties in terms of MUSIC requirements. Performance evaluations and analysis of the space-time MUSIC technique are demonstrated using field measurements of the typical outdoor IS-95 CDMA radio propagation channel in both static and pseudo-static scenarios.
