摘要
Cell cultures derived from human sarcomas differ from those derived from normal adult tissue in that they can in some cases form colonies when inoculated as single cells onto monolayers of contact-inhibited cells. The system provides a method of selecting cells that have decreased contact inhibition of cell division and may be used to select tumor cells from a population containing a large excess of normal cells.
