A typical installation which contains 50,000 significant items of equipment would traditionally be supported by over 250,000 spare parts and 500,000 key documents. Documents and associated data, such as P&IDs, loop sheets, data sheets and spare parts listings, are being supplied in many forms ranging from integrated CAD packages to simple paper solutions.
