Application of PAM in Li-ion battery cathode material LiFePO_4

The influence of dispersant polyacrylamide(PAM) on the performance of cathode material LiFePO4 was studied by the metalloscope,SEM,XRD,galvanastatic charge-discharge,electrochemical impedance and cyclic voltammetry methods.The dispersion property was the best when adding 0.1% PAM into LiFePO4,it could restrain the agglomeration of activated material.The specific discharge capacity of cathode improved from 132.6 mAh/g(without adding dispersant) to 166.9 mAh/g when cycled at 0.1 C in 2.7~4.2 V,the cycle stability was improved.
