Radiative transfer in a water-body: Reflectance computations

Summary  Water-body reflectances are calculated using the basic two-streams approximation of the radiative transfer equation, in three different versions. Conditions of isotropic and non-isotropic scattering are taken into account in the computation. The results are checked against experimental data. From the comparison of the three approaches, the two streams method is the simplest allowing us to make inferences about the type of suspended particles in the water-body.
