Structure and properties of La0.7Pb0.3Mn1−xCoxO3

The solid solution La0.7Pb0.3Mn1-xCoxO3 (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 1) has been prepared by the conventional ceramic technique. Single-phase samples can be obtained for the entire stoichiometry range. The lattice parameters determined from X-ray powder diffraction show that La0.7Pb0.3Mn1-xCoxO3 is a rhombohedral crystal structure with space group R (3) over bar c for all samples.
