The exponential growth of the internet is dramatically changing the landscape of traditional business. However, there is very little research available documenting the actual usage, value, or intentions of small businesses regarding this new technological mar ketplace. This exploratory study of 126 small businesses examined 65 important questions regarding their use of e-commerce and internet technology as well as their concerns and preparedness for Y2K.
