Étude des relations entre le score de Gillette et la vitesse de marche chez les enfants paralysés cérébraux

Method Five subjects aged 6 to 14 years (± 4.4), grades 1 to 3 on the Palisano scale, were included in this study. Walking capacity was assessed subjectively with the Gillette scale following an evaluation of temporal-spatial parameters with the GAITRite ® walkway. Results Five spatiotemporal parameters correlated with the Gillette scale. All were parameters related to speed. Discussion The results showed a trend correlating speed parameters with walking quality. The cerebral palsy children's heel parameters were taken into account during rehabilitation care. Conclusion A future study will include more subjects and focus the investigation on the correlated parameters.
