CircuitBoard: Sketch-Based Circuit Design and Analysis

ABSTRACT Digital logic circuit design is an inherently computable process that can greatly benefit from real-time feedback and evaluation. This paper presents CircuitBoard, an application for designing and testing hand drawn,digital logic circuits using a sketch-based interface, such as on a Tablet PC. Our system aims to provide these tools to a paper-like interface, an environment,shown,to be natural and,conducive,to design,conceptualization. We,outline,our,low-level strategies for stroke segmentation,and,logic element recognition, as well as our high-level approaches to circuit evaluation and the motivations,behind our system's user interface design.
