The Influence of the Serum Leptin、Inflammatory Reaction and Nutritional Status in Patients with Maintenance Hemodialysis

Objective:To explored the influence of the Serum leptin、C-reactive protein 、interleukin-6 levels and nutritional status in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients by different dialysis mode.Methods:Sixty patients with maintenance hemodialysis were randomly divided into low-flux hemodialysis group(A group)、high-flux hemodialysis group(B group)and hemodiafiltration group(Cgroup),20 healthy individuals as normal control group,to explore the interrelation and influencing factor among leptin、CRP、IL-6 and nutritional status.The statistics covariates include:Laboratory examinations and hemodialysis parameter :gender、age、year for dialysis、BMI、serum albumin、Kt/V and so on.Results:(1)The levels of Leptin、CRP、IL-6 of hemodialysis patients pre-dialysis was significantly higher than those in the normal control group(P0.05),but the value of Alb 、BMI was significantly lower than those in the control group(P0.05).(2)After 6 months treatment,the levels of IL-6、CRP、leptin and BMI were no difference than those of pre-dialysis in the A group.on the contary all the data have decreased except BMI in the other groups(P0.05).(3)We research also found that positively correlated between leptin and IL-6、CRP in MHD patients,and its with Alb was negative correlation..IL-6、CRP and BMI、Alb was negative correlation.Conclusion:There have hyperleptinemia、micro-inflammation and malnutrition status in MHD patients.The inflammatory cytokines、hyperleptinemia could be decreased and improve malnutrition status after by hemodiafiltration and high flow hemodialysis treatment.
