摘要
All general practitioners within a Health District were asked whether they wouldimmunise children, with 10 different medical histories, against measles. Important erroneous reasons for denial of immunisation included a child on anticonvulsants (36%), a child with first degree relative with epilepsy (22%), a child allergic to hens' feathers (22%) and a child with a previous diagnosis of measles (17%). If national targets are to be met further effort needs to be given to educating professionals involved.
