Pion Double-Charge-Exchange On Se-Nat

Pion-induced double charge exchange (pi+, pi-) on a target of Se-nat has been investigated at a laboratory angle of 5 degrees and incident kinetic energies of 132, 166, and 294 MeV. Cross sections (and limits) have been extracted for the various ground-state transitions. The double isobaric analog state and several other excited states are also observed.
