Entropy and compressibility of the elements in the solid phase

Summary  A correlation procedure is proposed which allows us to evaluate the entropy of the elements in the solid phase by the knowledge of their compressibility andvice versa. The basic assumptions of the correlation are explicitly described. Calculated values are compared with experimental data mainly available atT=298 K. The agreement is within the mean accuracy of measurements.
