Oral amyloidosis as initial symptom of multiple myeloma

A case of multiple myeloma which was found from presenting symptoms of oral amyloidosis is presented. Initially, plasmacytomas were not demonstrable on radiographic examination or as clinical findings in the soft tissues. Later a pathology report from an iliac crest marrow biopsy revealed multiple myeloma.
