Atrial And Ventricular Activation Time Imaging

The feasibility of atrial and ventricular activation time imaging was investigated based on data sets of patients who underwent an electrophysiologic study. Several pacing protocols with pacing sites at the right atrial appendage, coronary sinus, and high right atrium were part of the study as well as Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome. The associated activation time patterns were reconstructed by solving the electrocardiographic inverse problem. The localization error was estimated to be between 10 and 14 mm.
