Synthesis of 1,4-Bis-t-butoxycarbonyl Spermidine by One-pot

N1,N4-di-tert-butoxycarbonyl-N4-(2-cyanoethyl)-1,4-diaminobutane(3) was obtained by one-pot from 1,4-diaminobutane and acrylonitrile.1,4-Bis-t-butoxycarbonyl spermidine was synthesized by reduction of 3 using lithium aluminium hydride as the reducer and TBME as the solvent.The structure of 4 was confirmed by 1H NMR and MS.
