摘要

A cDNA encoding manganese Superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) has been cloned and sequenced from Drosophila melanogaster. This 805-bp complete cDNA carries a single open reading frame which specifies a deduced 217-amino-acid (aa) protein with an average identitiy of 60.8% with deduced MnSOD aa sequences from Caenorabditis elegans and humans.
