摘要
A previously undescribed disease of lowbush blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium), caused by Exobasidium sp., was found in Nova Scotia. Symptoms were white to pale yellow, circular leaf spots up to 5 mm in diameter. Typical symptoms developed on young leaves of V. angustifolium and several other Vaccinium spp. inoculated with isolates of the Exobasidium from the leaf spots. The morphology of the pathogen is described and its taxonomic status is discussed.
