An improved DEPT-HMQC sequence for high-throughput NMR analysis

Two new pulse sequences are presented for the acquisition of DEPT-HMQC spectra, based on the original experiment of Kessler et al. The new sequences employ modifications intended to make the experiment well suited for high-throughput acquisition and automated analysis. The sequences use coherence selection with gradients to reduce artifacts and constant-time evolution to suppress unwanted F-1 modulation. In addition, the new sequences require fewer pulses than the original experiment, and perform well even when pulse lengths are slightly mis-set. Copyright (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
