Neuro-physiotherapists' Awareness of Strength of Evidence

Pomeroy and Tallis state that neuro-physiotherapists are expected to deliver evidence-based practice, but their concern is that many physiotherapists are too quick to change certain aspects of their practice, based on their interpretation of research findings from flawed studies. The root of this problem, they suggest, is that many physiotherapists lack in-depth knowledge of research methods and are thus unable to interpret correctly the strength of the evidence derived from research studies.
