Natural Frequency Characteristics of Axial Vibration of Transformer Windings

The linear mathematical model with multiple degrees of freedom(MDOF) was established based on the winding structural characteristics and used to solve the natural frequency of windings.It turned out that remarkable characteristics were exhibited in the natural frequency distributions during winding axial vibration.Then 50-DOF winding model was applied to analyze the influence of the changes of windings′ pre-compression on its natural frequency,which could further help to improve the dynamic strength of winding structure.
