摘要
Objective To study the clinical outcomes of floating acupuncture therapy in the patients with knee joint arthritis-induced pain. Methods One hundred patients with knee joint arthritis-induced pain were randomly divided into floating treatment group(A) and traditional acupuncture group(B) with 50 cases each. The knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score(KOOS) was performed at 1 h,on the 8th,26th,and 52ed week after treatment. Results The numbers of treatment of groups A and B were(3.3±1.0) and(4.2±1.3).KOOS at 1 h after treatment was significantly increased in both groups(P0.01),which was higher in group A than that in group B(P0.05).The pain symptoms and the quality of life score were markedly improved 8 and 26 weeks after treatment. The KOOS was significantly decreased 52 weeks later in two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Floating acupuncture therapy is effective in alleviating knee joint arthritis-induced pain, which is long-lasting and simple compared with conventional acupuncture treatment.
